@cariboumusic

my DAPHNI album 'Butterfly' is out and Odo is giving the vinyl a scratch. (this is not AI)

i’ve collaborated with myself. 🙃 I know people always give me a hard time about what is a daphni track and what’s a caribou track loll but this one really feels like it’s right in the middle / both at the same time…. So it is going to be both: it’s out as a collaboration between me and myself: caribou and daphni. my new Daphni album ‘Butterfly’ is out on Feb 6th, 2026. New tracks ‘Waiting So Long’ and ‘Lucky’ from it are out now. Video by @555x5555

my new Daphni album ‘Butterfly’ is out on Feb 6th, 2026. the album is wild. There’s such a broad range of stuff on there: weird tracks, club tracks, pop tracks… i just forgot to think about the album was supposed to be and just made whatever struck me. Weirdly though for me, at least, it hangs together really well i think… Link to listen to the new tracks and pre-order the album in the bio. The 2LP and CD are insanely gorgeous looking - especially the opalescent coloured vinyl. 😍 Album artwork and design by @555x5555

Every summer me and my family spend a week with a group of friends and their kids at a cottage on a lake in Ontario. One of the kids there is a 10 year old named Emil. Despite the fact that i have a PhD in mathematics (and that my dad in fact used to teach a university maths course about that included how to solve the rubik's cube) I've never learned to solve it. But this summer, hanging out at the lake together, Emil taught me how to do it. Thanks Emil. Butterfly Expanded Edition is out today.

I made this mashup for the Fred USB shows in NYC in jan...but it’s too much fun to play...so i’ve just kept playing it

in one of the most surreal and amazing moments of my life Thomas Bangalter , a massive inspiration and hero as long i’ve been making music, played my track mixed with a track by his son, who was there in the booth with him at @Fredagainagain not knowing that i was there in the room… and fred called me out on the mic and i came up to the booth and it was all 🥰🫂😭🎇 I wrote this song for my first child when she was born so it was extra 🥹 will nevvver forget this thanks thomas. thanks fred the whole show is on youtube now

I am not JUST a cat person - @rtk_studio's incredible video for my track You Can Do It just passed 1M views on youtube.

🦋 My DAPHNI album ‘Butterfly’ is out today. I hope you 🩷 it. 🦋 It’s wild and weird - no concept or theme or whatever tying it together other than just the joy of making whatever music excited me in the moment. But somehow i think it all fits together. I hope you like it and it brings you joy. x d Artwork by 555x5555

no animals were harmed during the making of this video 🚫. thank you Zuzu, Oscar, Fig and co for starring in the Talk to Me video. Talk To Me and Good Night Baby out now. Album ‘Butterfly’ out soon. Video by 555x5555

Two new tracks from the Daphni album out today. The one in this video is ‘Good Night Baby’ - it was meant to be a mostly drums only club track but somewhere along the way it became a mushy loved up track with all the feels. ‘Talk To Me’ stuck to the brief more… Just over three weeks until the album is out. yessssss!! Links to listen, presave etcetc etc in bio. Video by 555x5555
