My whole place will be cluttered but I won’t budge on this one #nathanfielder

The filter is raising money for a 🍉🇵🇸 family! Hoping this video allows me to move through the Wicked books a little more quickly 😊 Stay tuned for part 1 of Wickee: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West, hopefully coming later today!! #oz #wizardofoz #wicked #thewizardofoz #booktoker #bookclub #readalong #readwithme #readingchallenge #wickedthemusical #wickedmovie #lfrankbaum #gregorymaguire #wickedwithofthewest #elphaba #glinda #ozian #ozfandom #ozbooks #booktomovie #childrensbook #literature #bookish #reader #readersofbooktok #books #booktokfyp #lore

Forgot to mention, but my goal is to get all this reading done by the time Elphie: A Wicked Childhood comes out on October 1st! But ykw, if you hate this album so much, maybe I can get face value tickets

I am not an archery expert but did it for a few years and had a level 1 certification to teach it with Girl Scouts, and since seeing the movie, I feel like I can see the trend now of people doing that to the movie audio and breaking their bows 😬 #theodyssey #archery #mythology

Let me know if anyone else here has done an Angelina Maleficent party bc that just seems so specific to me haha, it was so fun! #partyprincess #storytime #disneyvillains

This song has been stuck in my head nonstop since it came out 😅 @tabi harlowe #indiemusic #greenscreen

Thankfully, I will only have one anemone in my bouquet, so I won’t have to make too many of these! Materials: DMC Pearl Cotton, size 5 in colors 32, 550, 823, and 35 Hair pick, preferably with metal teeth, not one with curved teeth Needle, preferably with a blunt point (like a tapestry needle) Scissors Lots of patience………. #anemone #diywedding #diyflowers

A children’s WW2 novel that tackles the rise of Nazism, corruption in orphanages and adoption, discrimination against Mexican families in California, propaganda/groupthink, and Japanese internment camps? And still manages to have a hopeful message? 10/10 will be recommending to all my 5th graders #middlegradebooks #childrensliterature #booktok

DISCLAIMER: we obviously do not have the Wicked book at the elementary school library, but at the public library, if a kid asks for the wicked book, I explain to them and their grown ups that it’s very different from the musical and movie and was written with adults as the intended audience. I wouldn’t ever infringe on intellectual freedom and not allow a kid to check the book out, but I want to make sure kids and families are making informed decisions since many, like mine, buy kids the Wicked book without any knowledge of the content #wicked #wickedbook #library

I know this is a pretty meaningless rant compared to all the people being kidnapped off the street right now, but it’s been a while since I got to argue about something unimportant, so lmk your thoughts about this opt up #frozen #elsa #musicaltheatre #frozenbroadway #partyprincess

What dreams are made of since 2014!! 🥰❤️💍

We don’t see much of Elphaba’s social life after she’s “Galindafied” in the musical or movie, and I just wish there was a way this could have been included because I would have LOST it #wicked #wickedthemusical #somewhereovertherainbow #oz #wickedbook #gregorymaguire #thewizardofoz #wizardofoz #wickedmovie #elphaba #glinda #cynthiaerivo #arianagrande #popular #dancingthroughlife #booktok #fantasybooks #oztok #booktoker #ozian #ozfandom

Disclaimer: just because I didn’t mention something here doesn’t mean I didn’t like it! The movie was almost 3 hours, and I liked way more than 10 minutes of it 😅 Dedicating a whole video to the positives has definitely brightened my impression of it overall after this first watch. #wicked #wickedthemusical #wickedmovie #wicked2024 #wickedpart1 #wickedreview #wickedfilm #thewizardofoz #eastereggs #oz #wizardofoz #ozlore #elphaba #glinda #cynthiaerivo #arianagrande #booktok #musicaltheatre #musical #booktoker #deepdive

Replying to @jaim the more i think about it, the more i believe Oz is just the afterlife… especially since LFB retcons some things to say that no one ever 💀s OR EVEN AGES in Oz, and that outsiders who come to live in Oz will stay that age forever 😬 #thewizardofoz #oz #oztok #wizardofoz #ozian #booktok #loredump #lore #fantasy #fantasymap #fantasybooks #booktoker #qanda #childrensliterature #lfrankbaum #glinda #wicked #elphaba #wickedthemusical #wickedmovie #wickedmusical

Replying to @Emi May “And there the wicked old Witch stayed for a good long time.” “And did she ever come out?” “Not yet.” 🧹📖🍾🌂 What hurts me about the ending of this book is that after spending her life trying to get rid of the Wizard, the thing that finally does it is her death. But while her martyrdom is something she may have fantasized about when she was Fae, by this point in the book, it doesn’t feel like a win for the greater good the way everyone in Oz sees it— it’s a tragedy. The Wizard says to Elphaba during their first meeting, “Do you know the meaning of the word pawn?” Dorothy and Elphaba, fated enemies, come so close to finding common ground and realizing they’re being pitted against each other to tell someone else’s story. And it’s all ruined by an innocent, well-intentioned act. In the belted out words of the green girl herself, “No good deed goes unpunished.” 🥲 (Even with 20+ parts, there are so many thoughts I couldn’t fit into this recap: possible LFB Oz references, political allegory, character analysis, and un-informed philosphical musings. I’m considering writing a chapter-by-chapter reading companion guide with ALL the things I couldn’t include. If you’ve made it this far, please let me know if that’s something you’d like to see!) #wicked #readalong #booktok #readingrecap #booktoker #thewizardofoz #wickedmovie #wickedthemusical #elphaba #wickedwitch #oz #ozians #glinda #wizardofoz #defyinggravity #reader #readersoftiktok #reading #readalongwithme #readingchallenge #wickedbook #gregorymaguire #lfrankbaum #lymanfrankbaum #ozbooks #fantasybooks #fantasybooktok

Replying to @hunkeleberry once again, its been a million years. I recorded this like 2 weeks ago and just got around to editing 😭 next video will seriously be the last one for this book! #greenscreen hoping against EVERYTHING that this dress makes an appearance in Wicked Part 2… cosplay people, let me know if you have suggestions for fairly easy things I could do to improve this dress? I don’t want to take anything apart. I’m thinking I might make a thing that wraps around the waist covered in ruffles that would layer on top of my current ones to get them going at more like the correct angle? Idk #wicked #halloween #cosplay #elphabadress #witch #wickedwitch #wickedmusical #costume #diycostumes

Took me way too long to realize you have to start on middle C… 🫠
