1️⃣ First, gather the materials you need! Paint, cardboard/posterboard, hot glue, elastic/ribbon, scissors, and anything else you need for embellishing the costume! 🎨 2️⃣ Second, to get the right size, measure roughly the length from shoulder to mid-thigh ✂️ Mark that measurement and cut two circles out of cardboard to be the front and back of the Roomba® 3️⃣ Next, paint one side of each cardboard circle to be the front, and the "back" of the costume as the bottom of the Roomba® robot of your choosing. You can add extra materials here to represent the side brushes, mop pads, and all the fun technology bits. Some ideas could be using pipe cleaners, pool noodles, foam, glitter, etc. ✨ 4️⃣ Step Four: This costume hangs from the shoulders, so two measurements are needed. Measure the length from the front of the shoulder to the upper back by the shoulder blade, and an extra 1-2 inches for comfort is always recommended 📏 5️⃣ On the unpainted inside of each circle, mark with a pencil where the straps will be glued. Cut the elastic or ribbon to length, and then hot glue the straps in place. ❕Tip: Scoring the material slightly with a knife before attaching the strap will help keep the hot glue secure. ⭐️ And you're done! Enjoy being your favorite Roomba® robot and be the best dressed robot out during Trick or Treating! 🎃🍬
