Using a heated metal pipe, melt four round holes into a plastic lid. Apply hot glue to the cut off neck of a drink bottle and attach it over each hole. Tighten the lid and add some pebbles. Now you have a free standing toothbrush holder with separate compartments that won't tip over. Cut plastic bottle caps into suitable washers, fit them into the faucet aerator and screw it back on tightly. Now a flexible corrugated hose can screw directly onto the faucet, making it much easier to rinse every corner of the sink. Drill a small hole in the faucet handle, turn off the water valve, then put a large padlock through the hole to lock the handle in place. you won't have to worry about someone turning on your outdoor faucet and wasting your water. Push the head of a zip tie into a crack in the wall, insert a wooden plug, saw it flush and apply cement to secure it. Loop the exposed zip tie around the water pipe, pull it tight and cut off the excess. The pipe stays firmly attached to the wall with a simple hidden fix. Remove the bristles from an old toothbrush, use a screw and washer to secure a razor blade to it and you've made a handy little utility knife. With an extremely sharp edge, it cuts through sponges and scrub pads quickly and cleanly. Saw a slit into the back of a toothbrush, heat it until soft and Bend at 90 degrees with the bristles pointing straight down. You can use it to clean dust from window grooves and hard to reach corners of sliding tracks. All the dust comes right out. Use a heated fork to melt lots of tiny holes into a bottle cap. Secure it with tape to a cut plastic bottle neck, fill it with sponge pieces and activated carbon, attach it to the faucet and you've got a shower style faucet attachment that filters water, softens it and helps prevent splashing. Cut a long opening for tissues into the bottom of a clear plastic food container, fill it with baby wipes, stick double sided tape on the back, then hang it underneath a wall cabinet. You can pull out a wipe with one hand whenever you need it. It keeps the wipes dust free without taking up counter space.
