Hey Flowmies 💫 We want to hear from you and collaborate with you! ✨ Our mission is to host flow meets across the PNW and we need your feedback and collaboration to make these meets special ❤️ As the weather gets better we been working on hosting a meet every week! ☀️ 💫We want your input of what cities, parks, dates, and times you want to see meets. Everyone should have the opportunity to go to a local flow meet! 💫We also want to reach out to the community to ask who wants to get involved? Ideas like co-hosting meets, workshops, education, DJing, photography, or however else you want to participate! ✨PNW Flowmies! ✨ We’re hosting our first indoor meet! Bring your favorite UV and LED props for a glow flow at Akasha Ariel Arts in Spanaway! We will provide props to use, and be are always happy to teach those wanting to learn. Entry is 5$-25$ sliding scale, pay what you can afford. We will have a donation bucket set out for the owner of the studio (Jenni) for so graciously hosting us. The mirrors lined along the walls are delicate, they can’t be touched or leaned on. They are mylar film and super expensive to replace. We’re meeting at Vanzee Disc Golf Course from 3pm-7pm bring a snack, blanket, frizbees, and your flowy vibes.  Circled area is meet spot “X” is parking. ✨PNW Flowmies! ✨ After a much needed break, us admins at PNW are back on track for our September meets!  Today we welcome, our September Schedule!  Here’s what we have planned- Sept 5th- BYOF (bring your own flow) Brent and Genevieve here at PNWFlowArtists are hosting a free form flow meet at Madrona Park in Seattle from 2pm-5pm. Genevieve will be offering beginner hoop tutorials to those interested the duration of the meet. Brent will be teaching boomerang moves for flowstar if anyone wants to try! The summer heat has us full of energy and ready for this months flow meets! Today we welcome, our July Schedule! Here’s what we have planned- July 8th- We’re hosting a potluck this flow meet! Share your signature dish, something you’ve been craving lately, or just an empty belly and let the flowmies take care of you. We’ll have some single use plates and cups but if you want to take home leftover bring Tupperware! As always extra supplies are appreciated. July 13th- Two for one workshop day! Flowstar workshop led by Adrian @aj 💓🌀 from 6:00pm-6:30pm. Poi workshop led by Tyler @Tyler Hamilton from 7:00pm-7:30pm. July 19th- Prepare for festival season and bring your gently used/worn rave clothes/items to swap and trade with fellow flowmies! Welcome in new style, refresh your closet, and recycle old goods! July 30th- International Day of Friendship reminds us what this is all about 🫶 Building community and sharing friendship with flowmies, bonding over learning, music, and movement. Bring your best buds to celebrate each other! This week we are giving a shoutout to Bri (@Bri ✿◕ ‿ ◕✿ ) from Tacoma ✨ Bri has been flowing for 5 months and their favorite flow prop is the Flowstar 💫 and their favorite tricks are the around the world and levitating spin! 🌱 When Bri is not flowing you can catch them being a stay at home mom, reading books, sun tanning, and vacationing with family 📖🌞 Bri wanted to give a shoutout to Mel (@Psyrin_song) for gifting them such a beautiful opportunity, and community! Without Mel and Flow stars they wouldn't know how to manage. We asked Bri what they love about flow and the community and they responded "I love feeling connected with each other in times of such uncertainty! Getting together and letting the flow take over is unmatched!" They also wanted to share some love with us (PNWflowartists) and wanted to thank our collective for being sweet and welcoming. They appreciate what @Pnwflowartists is doing for the community! A simple flow meet and im meeting new friends at each one. I also love the curiosity from on lookers who are intrigued by flowing and they come over and learn a little about it and the community. I love learning from my fellow flowmies new tricks and flow styles i wouldnt be where im at in my flow stage without them." This week we are giving a shoutout to Shinowa (@shinowaa) ✨ Shinowa is a Tulalip tribe member who resides in Bellingham with her two dogs, cat, and her very cool DJ husband (@_yay_k_). Shinowa has been flowing for 1 1/2 years. Her favorite flow toy is the flowstar and her favorite trick is the around the world and reverse ATW. 💫 When she is not flowing, her other favorite hobby is crochet! She is working on creating her own crochet shop (@samize.world) 🧶 Shinowa wanted to give a shoutout to Levi who owns (@interstellarcollections) for getting her into flow. Levi randomly gave her one of his flowstars and she has been obsessed ever since 💕 We asked Shinowa what she loves about flow and the community and this was her response "For my whole life i’ve been a music addict. The kid that sat in class with headphones in. The girl that drives around blasting music and going to random concerts. Then a few years back one of my closest friends, Dylan, got me into EDM. I eventually found my husband, Julian (a glover and DJ), through our shared love for EDM and flow. And then during Cyclops Dome, i was randomly gifted a flowstar. Since being apart of the flow community i’ve made lifelong friends, found new creative outlets, and of course found my own flow. This week we would like to introduce you to Tiny (insta: @tiny.flowz) from Tacoma Washington. Tiny has been flowing for 5 months and her favorite flow prop is the Flow Star 💫 Tiny's favorite style of flow is experimental and she enjoys balance tricks and moves like vertical pinches and the buzzsaw.🌱 ✨She wanted to give a shoutout to Lynora (@Lynora) and Corbin (insta: @corbin.og) for inspiring her to flow by teaching her some moves. ✨ When we asked Tiny what she loves about flow arts and the community she responded "I started flowing February of 2026 the brand enterstellar is where I got mf first star they had a spot set up at the freight house for the preparty, Lynora (lynora_boosinger) Corbin (Corbin.og) inspired me to flow from trying to teach me to get it on my finger to my pizza tosses I just couldn’t understand how to do it but when I seen the star sitting on the interstellar table it felt like a calling to so I got it, the entire weekend of thunderdome I couldn’t put my star down I learned my pizza tosses and finger spins within a day and within a week I learned my buzzsaw arm rolls and behind the back flow"💕 Her message to the community is "Stay happy and safe and be kind to one another" 🫶 Give Tiny a follow ⭐️ Insta: @Tiny_flowz @tiny_scrapp Tik tok: @mrs.edm.fairy Fill out the poll in our bio to be featured for Flowmie Friday 📋 #flowmies #flowarts #flowtoys #flowstar #flowartscommunity
