My girlfriend is seriously clever. She's constantly discovering the strangest little life hacks. She puts shower gel directly inside the shower head. Forget using a loofah, turn on the water and thick foam comes right out. She's basically a savings expert too. Pretty clever, right? And when it comes to organizing, she makes everything look effortless. She puts her high heels inside plastic bags for Protection. Apparently one pair can last for years. She also says there's no reason to buy expensive tissues when toilet paper works just as well. It costs around half as much. I somehow made it 50 years without knowing that even empty toilet paper tubes don't go to waste. She cuts little openings into them and turns them into handy holders for garbage bags. She's always finding an easier way to do things. Take peanuts for example. Instead of spending forever peeling them by hand, she uses those mesh produce bags from the supermarket. What takes other people an hour can be finished in about a minute. She's also figured out a clever way to clean oil bottles. Some areas are almost impossible to reach, so she attaches a steel wool scrubber to a magnet. Move the magnet around the outside and the scrubber follows along inside, removing those stubborn greasy spots. Surprisingly effective. And before tossing out worn out underwear, she removes the buttons first. Then she attaches them to the wardrobe and uses them to hang earrings and necklaces. Everything stays right where It belongs. Here's another one. Have you ever noticed the tiny hole on some forks that come with instant noodles? Apparently, it can double as a little hole punch. Most people probably never noticed. Finally, she puts a bar of soap inside an old stocking and drops it into the toilet tank. It helps keep the toilet fresh while leaving the bathroom smelling cleaner.
