We say, “Let it grow.” 💚 A project 2 years in the making, our work restoring a slope on the bike path in West Harlem has reached an exciting new milestone: installing wildflower sod from Meadow Lab. We’re excited to watch this area take on a new life and bloom in the spring! Check out the steps we took to reach this achievement. 🌻

In honor of Climate Week… welcome to the morning routine of a Riverside Park electric vehicle! 🌅⚡️ Our electric vehicles are one of the most important tools that we utilize to care for the park. Six miles of parkland means lots of driving to transport garbage, plant debris, and staff across all our acreage. We continue to electrify our fleet, along with colleagues at NYC Parks, to work towards a greener operational footprint. Introducing a brand new garden in Sakura Park! 🌿 Thanks to the hard work of Conservancy staff, and the vision of NYC Parks Landscape Architect Margaret Bracken, a broken concrete area at the south end of Sakura Park has been transformed into a beautiful new garden featuring 12 species of native plants. Long-time neighbors may remember there had previously been a garden there but it was paved over in the ’80s — now it has been lovingly restored! The new garden will be on full display at our signature fundraiser, Riverside Revue. Tickets are on sale now! These goats are truly talented! Thanks to the hard work of our goat crew, much of this year's slope at 143rd St. has been cleared. As a result, three of our goats will be graduating early and returning home this week.
