What can your excess materials become? At CircularWorks, they’re transformed into products designed for real use. In our manufacturing hub, women work with materials that would otherwise be discarded, turning them into quality pieces through skill and precision. This is how waste is reduced. This is how work creates opportunity. 💜

Women from many cultures. Different journeys. Shared purpose. More than 105 countries. One community. Women are building their futures through work, together. #WorkEmpowersWomen 💜 #Inclusion #SocialImpact

3 Things Nabilla wished she had known before coming to Australia

Cultures, stories, and voices coming together. To launch Cultural Diversity Week in Victoria, SisterWorks partnered with the Victorian Multicultural Commission to create a community activation celebrating connection and shared stories. SisterWorks Sister Dinithi designed and created vibrant buntings using repurposed tram seat fabric. One side features the recognisable fabric, symbolising the journeys we take across Melbourne. The other side is lined with colourful fabrics representing the richness and vibrancy of our cultures. Guests were invited to write their own messages about what cultural diversity means to them, turning the buntings into a collective artwork filled with voices, reflections, and shared experiences. Together, the messages created a powerful reminder that the many cultures, traditions and stories across Victoria are what make our community strong. Just like Melbourne’s tram network, culture connects us all. 💜 Work Empowers Women.

Every day, millions of people sit on Melbourne trams. Farah sits down and thinks, “I made that one.” Behind these seats are hours of skilled work, steady pay, and women rebuilding their lives through SisterWorks. For Farah, sewing tram seats is more than a job. It is confidence, independence, and belonging in a city she now calls home. This SBS News story shares the hidden impact behind something we all take for granted. 💜 #WorkEmpowersWomen
