@teaganearley

it is a strange & beautiful thing that our mortal lives so precisely & profoundly reflect nature. this is the first & most consistent lesson the Wheel of the Year taught me. . I have been pretty quiet on social media for almost a full year now - but that year was far from stagnant [nothing living ever is]. a threshold was presented to me by my now-creative director & soul-friend @ari.alexander3 last summer, & my choice to walk through it could not have come at a better time. but I suppose that’s how the divine speaks to us… in the moments of “wait” before the first step of “now”. . the threshold was called “The Wheel of the Year”. a year-long meditation-based exercise in which I practiced presence, created ritual, made art, & journaled about every experience I had, no matter how small it seemed at the time. it began on Samhain, & will continue every day until the circle closes again on Samhain this year. then it will repeat again, as nature always does. it was the most transformative thing I have ever experienced. through it, i have became so acutely but peacefully aware of how profoundly connected everything in the universe is. and how, though I am small in it, my magic can be as expansive as I allow myself to be. so, I took a page from Her book, and permitted myself to be both enormously important and laughably insignificant simultaneously, as I explored how nature weathers the passage of time. . autumn is chaos & a thin veil, & learning what will not survive the winter so we can burn it away. winter is rest [whether you settle beside it willingly or not], reflection, sharp clarity, & the cosmos. spring is chaos again, this time in the form of new love & learning to walk on legs just sprouted. & summer is a racing heart, as you finally enjoy the fruits of your hard-earned labor. I have written & lived [the same thing, if you squint] through them all, & now, it’s your turn. . soon, I will finally get to share what this journey brought me, with all of you. & gratitude isn’t a vast enough word to express how I feel about that. but that’s not all… soon, you too can enter The Wheel, & begin your own journey. because the only thing better than undergoing this metamorphosis yourself [so Ari told me] is sharing it - watching others come into their power through its warm embrace. that is what I hope to give to you. . if you sign up for The Wheel of the Year newsletter on my website, you will periodically be sent the very same prompts I used for my expedition through the Wheel. we will build a community around it. we will sing and dance and laugh and cry as we discover it. & I promise, this time next year, you’ll have discovered your own magic in a way you never have before. so please, Enter the Wheel as it begins to turn. I can’t wait to watch you blossom. . for it is a strange & beautiful thing that our mortal lives so precisely & profoundly reflect nature. but it is also our oldest magic. so do sign up, thank you for crossing so curiously into the world I have built, stay attuned as the whispers of Samhain drift in through the veil, and know that I love you, and will be with you every step of the way. . Love & Magic, Teagan . #teaganearley #epic #epicthemusical #newmusic #fyp

on this episode of “Teagan loves educational institutions and encourages you to take yourself on adventures”, I was so beyond lucky to get to spend the day as an honorary educator at @AnimalTracksInc !! Thank you to my amazing friend @Baddluck - one of their incredible staff members (and a killer music artist - go follow her!) - and the whole team who takes care of these incredible rescued animals! Make sure to pay them a visit if you’re ever in SoCal! . DISCLAIMER: the animals featured in this video are rescues, under the trained care of a sanctuary. THEY ARE NOT PETS, AND SHOULD NEVER BE PETS. Neither I nor Animal Tracks condone contact with wildlife, which can be incredibly harmful to the animal even when you mean well!
