WHAT ON CAMERA INDUSTY CLASS REALLY MEANS👀 There’s a difference between teaching choreography for the camera, and teaching dancers how to WORK the camera. This is a very distinct skill set. On-camera performance isn’t just dancing in front of a lens. It’s a specialized skill set that professional dancers are expected to have when they step onto a commercial set, music video, television production, or film. REAL on-camera training includes learning how to: 🎥 Find and maintain eye lines without losing performance quality. 🎥 Adjust your energy so it reads through the lens, not just across a stage. 🎥 Understand camera framing, focal length, and how your movement translates on screen. 🎥 Perform for multiple takes while delivering the same level of consistency every time. 🎥 Hit choreography while staying aware of camera movement, marks, and timing. 🎥 Create AUTHENTIC facial performance that connects with an audience through the lens. 🎥 Understand angles, body positioning, and how subtle adjustments create a stronger visual. 🎥 Perform with intention not just execute steps. These aren’t things you simply pick up by filming dance videos. They’re skills developed through real industry experience and an understanding of what directors, choreographers, casting teams, and cameras are actually looking for. At XCAPE, our goal has never been to simply teach routines. We train complete performers, and we do that with teachers who have real life experience in music, videos, television, commercial, commercials, and more! Every class is built around developing dancers who know how to command a stage, own a camera, adapt to professional environments, and create performances that leave an impact. JOIN US FOR ELEVATE INDUSTRY CLASS for this exact focus, or join in any of our classes, For REAL insight into how to perform an execute for different media! #Dance #Dancer #DanceStudio #DanceCompany
