Flowing. Is. Therapy. Flowing isn’t always meant to be pretty, seamless, or smooth. This video is proof that even when it doesn’t feel great, it still helps. It’s not about how it looks… In fact, it shouldn’t be about that at all. It should be about how it feels. How does it make you feel? Yesterday was emotional… I’ve been struggling for over a year now (since 1/2025) with a violent, extremely debilitating vomiting disorder, and I’ve officially received a diagnosis. Having a name for what I’ve been going through is a relief. What’s not so great is the unknown road ahead. There aren’t any known “cures” yet, but there has been some success with symptom management through medications… and I am praying so hard for relief. I’ve lost over 30 lbs from vomiting 5–14 days a month. I’ve missed out on so much time with my kids, my husband, and my friends. I’ve had to turn down professional opportunities. And honestly, I feel like I’ve forgotten what it even feels like to be “healthy.” I think I’m posting this because it matters to show that not everything is picture-perfect. Even though this flow didn’t look very pretty, it helped my soul feel just a little bit better, and that’s what matters. Thank you @Flowstar for giving all of us a form of therapy and expression that can take any shape our souls need. And thank you @Matt Maeson for existing, and for pouring your heart into your music. Your songs have carried me through some very dark places, and I always turn to them when I need that emotional release.

Y’all, please don’t judge me for crying on camera. This song reminds me of my mom, who I’m currently estranged from. She’s been struggling deeply with alcohol addiction, and right now she’s in the ER after suffering multiple seizures. I’ve had to make some really hard choices to protect myself and my family from certain behaviors. And even though I know those boundaries are necessary… man, it still hurts - especially on days like today. The “burning house” my mom has been living in has brought her to this moment, where she’s facing a lot of serious and scary unknowns. If you’re the praying type, I would really appreciate prayers for her healing - both physically and spiritually. Please send strength her way. Even though I haven’t spoken to her in a while, I have always wanted, and will always want the best for her. I don’t pretend that the decision to remove her from our lives has ever been easy. I know there are people on the internet who will either understand or judge that decision, but I still felt called to share this. Being the child of an alcoholic is incredibly hard - not for pity, but because the truth is, no one walks through addiction without being affected. I went outside to get some sunlight and flow because it’s so therapeutic for my soul. Even though I feel like I barely flowed in this video, it still deserves a place on my page.
