How Photicular Books Work 🤔

Take a photo of Bite Girl, then another a split second later, and a few more, each catching her next move. Now slice every photo into hundreds of thin strips and line up one strip from each photo in a row, repeating that pattern across the whole package. Next, lay a sheet of tiny curved lenses on top, each lens bending light your way and showing one strip while the others hide so those strips you see form one clear picture. Now, when you turn the page, a hidden tab tugs the picture, sliding it across a tiny bit. This moves each lens onto the next strip before sweeping through the rest in a flash.
