You won't believe this. These are the amazing life hacks my 98 year old grandma knows. One, dirty water always dripping onto the floor. Purpose, a plastic container. Secure it next to the sink, drop leftover food scraps inside and the water drains away automatically. 2, wrap a piece of rope around the faucet, then insert a screwdriver and twist. This makes it easy to unscrew the faucet aerator, even easier than using a wrench. 3, poke small holes all over a bottle cap. Then cut a piece of plastic bottle and attach it. Fill the bottle with a sponge and charcoal, attach it to the faucet and you've got a simple homemade filter. 4, having trouble cleaning the grooves around your windows? Just cut a sponge to match the grooves, then use it to clean them. It makes getting all the dirt out much easier. 5, don't sweep up broken glass directly. First put a plastic bag over your dustpan, then sweep the glass shards into it. This makes cleanup much easier. Then use a plastic bottle to separate the trash so you don't accidentally hurt anyone. 6, got chewing gum stuck on your pants? Just press an ice cube against the gum and it'll be much easier to remove. 7, when your razor gets dull, just add some salt and turn it on. Let it run for two minutes. After cleaning it up, the blades can feel much sharper. 8, when your mop is covered in grease, put It inside a bag, soak it with baking soda, salt, dish soap and white vinegar for a day. After cleaning it, it'll look almost like new.
