Tell me something about you!!🌞I figured since I've gotten some new followers recently I'd introduce MYSELF! 🌏a lil peek into my world •first slide: makeup, bkgd art/pattern on dress(which is the same piece) by me. I love creating in general, playing with makeup and looks, but my full passion is music. But being an artist, it all correlates. I have many fascinations and m multifaceted •the Giraffe obsession started, oddly enough, because during the early 2000s animal print was trending alot, especially zebra and cheetah. I never saw cute 🦒 print and whenever I did it was like a rare find being so sparce. Somehow it just grew and I kept buying lil stuffies, people who met me gave me giraffes. This bag is actually a gift as well! Finally meeting one at a zoo developed a whole different ❤️ appreciation for the majestic creatures that they are •I was in food service for 16yrs before finding dog grooming. It's taught me so much patience and I'm grateful I finally found a job where I feel appreciated , the environment isn't toxic and I'm making good 💰 •I was gifted a guitar when I was 11. I learned early I had an affinity to music, being I could play by ear easily at a very young age on piano; which I learned when watching wizard of Oz hearing a song play and repeating it on the keys. I started producing in 2017 and have been singing since I could make sounds. I was always around music growing up •I love drawing and doodling I used to be good at drawing from sight when I was in elementary but as I got older the art shifted from what I saw on the outside to what I saw within. I rarely go in with a plan the pieces just kind of bloom slowly as I go and then it's revealed to me at the end •I was introduced to Flow arts by way of light whipping through a friend. it was gifted to me in 2020. After that I was hooked, mainly hooping but I like the other props for different moods and movements. I got to perform on stages and even atop a parked bus for a few diff events. I learned that I didn't want to just flow perofrm or even just vend my art or model like I did from 2020-2022 I realized Music was the goal and everything else can be incorporated •grew up on games, both parents were programmers so I was always around a PC. I am improving and proving myself to myself. Im ready for the trials to be over but also I'm grateful for all ive experienced that has led me to this point and not giving up when it felt like it was too much. I've been stepping up, showing up, and maintaining 🤟💯its been rewarding not only financially but just overall for my being. This is just a small taste of what life would be like when I achieve my goals... I would be this super busy, putting in the physical and mental work...the long hours the exhausting nights, pushing through it all- at my pace- to make sure I'm on top of not just work, but my own care, home, and there for my partner and my personal pursuits. I'm growing and helping alot more than just myself. It's crazy how the small actions ripple out...everything is a mirror and I see these challenges as opportunities, the opportunity to step into the life I've been building and manifesting. I wouldnt be able to hold it for long if i was just thrown into it all, everything has been an oppurtunity for growth and proving that I CAN handle IT. Not just the difficult aspects but also the rewards. I used to let things slip or even hold on too tightly. Now, I am in the flow and i can see how it is all shaping whats to come. October had been such a transformtive month. Things I said I wouldn't be able to handle all hit me these last few weeks-I CAN handle it all and much more than I led myself to believe. I love challenges and exploring my mind and improving with my mental and physical especially their connection. I say all this, bc im realizing the week has laid all that out for me in many ways. I proved myself to myself at my new job, hitting numbers by myself that I was trying to hut w another person, and I'm barely a month in this new field and I picked it up so quickly. Things I've been implementing at work, systems, patterns, deadlines, I'm realizing I can put that same energy towards my purusits....especially the deadline part🤪🙈I'm learning how every part of my life works together in some way, if that makes sense. like even just trying to learn the infinity weave with the flow star, and hearing a tut say "play with the weight" , I have translated that to my hooping. I love going back and forth with flow props and how they kinda help me get better with the other if that makes sense. lmao. And in life, like the more I improve or heal or work on something in one area, another area >even if it's been kinda put to the side< improves as well. Life's interesting. I've been staying off socials since I started my job. focusing my energy where I can. I haven't been much of a scroller for a few years now, but even taking a break from posting has been a nice rest and reset. I've been reading more, and learning about things that interest me. Even learning that I like new things, my boyfriend showed me How It's Made and I'm so fascinated, especially by the manufacturing industry amd those types of robotics like I see in my job in some areas. Life's cool, it's wild, but this journey has been worth it all. it felt like I was losing myself, and I was...the version I needed to survive...the lies I told myself that kept me stuck. I was holding onto my career of grooming dogs so tightly even after all the negative, I kept telling myself I couldn't do anything else this is all I'm good at. I'm SO happy with my new job, and proud of myself for taking the leap. I'm still adjusting to my schedule especially after such spotty work since Mid November . but after 2 weeks my feet finally don't hurt and I don't feel like sleeping alot🤪 This step is opening so many doors, even ones I didn't realize were closed for so long. I'm grateful. Im laughing more and remebering who i was before all the small things that conpiled making me make myself smaller. Grateful to my partner for all his support and pushing me out of my comfort zones and growing with me always. Now that I've got a feel of it all and my energy after workshifts I can finally get back to my creative goals. I started recording again and it's so much easier now, somehow, lol. I think stress and pressures of life were bleeding in. Now I feel the freedom in it all and the fun and also I finally don't hate my voice 🥳🤯🥰🎶This job also is going to help me have the financial backing for alot of my goals. I am grateful for how slow the winter was for me. I had alot of time to reflect, release physical things and emotional, brainstorm and plan and experiment with ideas and approaches, not just with music but with film for my music and 3d modeling. Now, as we're nearing my season🔥🐏, I feel ready. Like all the preparation and trails and errors is finally showing some results and paying off. IM SO FRIKIN excited to share more of me and my story and music. and the world I live and create from in this goofy brain.
