7 hacks every guy needs to know 1. Locking your bike with no chain around. Snap a padlock through the brake lever handle. Keep the wheel permanently clamped and nobody can ride it away. Two padlocks outside getting ruined by rain. Cut a slot in a plastic takeout container, slide it over the gate latch and lock it inside. Snap the lid shut for an instant waterproof shield. 3. Messy cables driving you crazy. Cut a straw into small sections and slide them onto a zip tie. Drop each wire into its own slot. Pull it tight for a perfectly clean desk. Four. Door constantly banging into the wall. Glue a metal spring between two plastic bottle caps. Stick it right behind the handle and it absorbs the impact without leaving a scratch. Five. Seized faucet won't budge without a wrench. Tie a tight loop of nylon rope around the base. Slide two screwdrivers through and twist the torsional leverage twists it right off. Six. Rusted pipe broken inside the wall. Carve a wooden stick and drive two screws into the sides. Drill a hole through the center and insert an Allen key. Turn it to back the broken pipe straight out. Seven. Broken screw stuck flush with the surface. Place a ring spanner over the exposed stud. Pour molten solder to cast a brand new bolt head. Cool it with water and crank it out effortlessly.
